What is an FRT Trigger? An FRT (Forced Reset Trigger), such as the FRT-15 or FRT-15L3, is a high-performance drop-in trigger for AR-15 platforms. It features a mechanical reset that assists the trigger in returning to the set position after a shot is fired, allowing for rapid follow-up shots while remaining a semi-automatic action.

Is there a 9mm version of the LifeCard? Currently, the LifeCard is exclusively available in .22LR and .22WMR. However, if you are looking for a compact 9mm platform, we recommend the Trailblazer Pivot Rifle, which utilizes a unique folding mechanism to remain ultra-portable.

2. Legal & Compliance

Are LifeCard guns legal? Yes, the LifeCard is a legal, serialized firearm in the United States. However, because it is a firearm, it must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer for a background check and transfer.

Is the LifeCard legal in California? Firearm laws vary significantly by state. For residents in highly regulated states like California, we recommend consulting with your local FFL dealer or checking the most recent state-approved handgun roster before placing an order.

Do I need a background check to buy a LifeCard? Yes. All firearm purchases made through the LifeCard Gun Official Store require a background check conducted by the FFL dealer who completes your transfer.

How many rounds does the LifeCard hold? The LifeCard is a single-shot pistol. However, the handle features a built-in storage compartment that can hold an additional three rounds of ammunition.

Can I use a suppressor with the LifeCard? Yes, we offer specialized models with threaded barrels (1/2″ x 28 threads) specifically designed for use as a discreet suppressor host.

What buffer weight is recommended for the FRT-15 trigger? For optimal and consistent cycling with the FRT-15L3, we strongly recommend using an H2 or H3 heavy buffer.
